TODD K. RUSSELL, 38, of Port Charlotte, Florida died
Saturday, September 23, 2006 in Punta Gorda as a result of an
automobile accident.

He was born June 29, 1968 in Punta Gorda and was a lifetime
resident of Charlotte County and a graduate of Charlotte High School.
Todd was a hair stylist at Beauty & The Beast Spa and Tanning Salon
in Port Charlotte.

His survived by his parents, Gail A. and Larry Wayne Russell
of Port Charlotte; two sisters, Melynda G. Russell and Tammy C. Russell
both of Port Charlotte; a brother, John W. Russell; 2 nieces, Samantha A.
Rivera and Charista Capoccia; and 2 nephews, J.J. (Jimmy Cruz) Acevedo, Jr.
and Stephen R. Conley.

Todd. My heart. I love and miss you so much. Gail and family, I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss. There really are no words.

He will swallow up death in victory;and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces. Isaiah 25:8 Todd I will miss you terribly, but will remember your smile and laugh forever. I hope you are now being showered with all the beautiful roses you could have ever dreamed of. I can only imagine how beautiful and wonderous it is to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My heartfelt sympathies go out to all of the friends and family that Todd has left behind. May this enormous grief wash over each of you gently. I have fond memories of walking home from school with Todd & Melynda....we would walk down Allen Street from the jr. high. They would leave me at my house on Allen Street and keep on going. It's just a sweet memory of a very sweet time. Although I saw Todd a couple of times since then...it was always very good to see him but very brief. He will stay with me as I remember him from those walks...laughing, funny and he always struck me as someone with such a great sense of self...a very attractive quality indeed. First if all, I'd like to say that I am so sorry for your loss. My husband and I hung out with him on several occasions, and we always had a great time. He was always happy and smiling and I will miss that about him.

Todd's family I am so sorry for your loss. Todd and I worked together at Punta Gorda salon. He is a great stylist and he taught me alot. I will always remember the Orlando trip to my first Hair Show. He will be missed!!! Maria

To the Russell family: My heart goes out to you all and I am so deeply sorry for your loss. There are people in our lives that leave such a lasting impression on us, no matter how long it has been since we have seen them. Todd was one of those people. I have been affected by this tragedy in ways that I cannot explain. Todd was such a wonderful person and I have so many happy memories of the days that we all played together as children and then on into high school. I always thought of Todd as a friend and know that he will be deeply missed by all who were ever lucky enough to know him.

It's very rare to meet somebody and have them leave such a lasting impression on you. I was lucky to have Todd as a dear friend. He was there for me and comforted to me through things in my life. Todd was my friend and my heart is heavy with sorrow. The world is a little darker without him in it. His laugh was infectious and his smile always lit up a room. I will miss Todd's smile and warmth. He had the gift of making people feel good about themselves and would lift your heart when you were down. He made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world on my wedding day. He was always telling me wonderful stories about his family. He loved you all very much. I am truly sorry and I will miss him so much.

I am very sorry to hear about Todd. He was such a nice guy. He was my hairdresser at Beauty and the Beast. I only know him for a little while. But what i know of him was great. He sure will be missed. My deepest sympathy. Becky

I write this for my parents. My mother has been with Hope Hospice for the last year with my father caring for her. My parent's lost my brother and their son also the night of Hurricane Wilma, October 24. They remember this because with the 8 people in my home, Todd and my son took care of things that night. My brother died in a chair and with the wind blowingand the rain, he was their for us afterwards. Your boy was a pleasent,beautiful, and caring person. We all lost someone, we loved with our hearts and soul. We lost a son , a parent to our grandchild, a mate to our daughter, but most of all lost a TRUE great human being. I regret the lost, I also worry about my daughter, that lost her best friend, and mate. You could not think of one with out the other, I hope that we can all think of Todd as just LOVE, Rufus Binford and Helen Binford We truly loved you.

I also met Todd through his best friend, Denise Binford, and we had some great times together partying in New Orleans. When I barely survived Katrina, Todd and Denise arrived loaded with supplies and support. In June, the three of us went white water rafting and created more great memories that I'll always treasure. Goodbye for now, Todd....

May you all feel the loving arms of Jesus surrounding you during this time. My love and prayers go to you Denise who lost a piece of her heart with the loss of her dear friend Todd. I will always remember Todd with a smile on his face bringing joy to thoes he was with. You will always be a part of our family and greatly missed. Denise H.

My deepest sympothy goes out to the Russell family. Todd and I were old school friends. I always remembered Todd as a true friend, one whom you could count on being there for you when you needed one. I am truely sorry I could not attend the funeral for I am over 3000 miles away right now stationed in Kuwait. It is very hard for me to know a friend has passed away and I could not be there to say good-bye. Please know you will be in our hearts and prayers. Todd was a big part of my family. He meant so much to my sister and my mother who are takeing this loss very hard. It's so hard to say good-bye to a friend whom you have known for such a long time, Todd, you had a gift for your kindness and your love for life. To Todd's Family & Friends, I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. Todd will be missed by so many. I've proudly visited Todd's chair regular, once a month or so for the last 8 years. He always had way of making me feel like a million bucks. He's smile, warm personality and hysterical stories made the visit so much fun! If there's one thing I know about Todd,it was he had passion. He loved his family and friends very much, spoke lovingly of each of you. Todd believed in children & their futures. As a foster/adoptive Mom he never skipped a beat, when it came to the children in my life, he supported my husband and I am believed in our mission. Todd was a beautiful and caring person. Don and I had a lot of good laughs with him at the salon. No one will ever be able to do hair as well as Todd. When we moved we took a part of you with us. I was so sorry to hear.I worked with Todd back in the 90's at Joe & Co. I'm glad that I got to meet him.He was so warm & caring.He will be missed by many.
