He was born October 4, 1949 in Haiti and immigrated to the Brooklyn, New York in 1970 and moved to Port Charlotte 4 years ago. Rev. Vincent served as a missionary in Haiti and started many churches on Long Island, New York and in the Miami, Florida area. He is the former pastor of the New Jerusalem Haitian Baptist Church of Fort Myers and was the currently Serving as pastor of the Redeemer Haitian Baptist Church of Port Charlotte.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 37 years, Rhode Vincent of Port Charlotte; two sons, Daton (Louise) Vincent of Miami, FL and Sidney (Melissa) Vincent, U.S. Army, Iraq; a sister, Marie-Jeanne (Rev. Enoc )
Toby of Port Charlotte; and a brother, Luc ( Lydie ) Vincent of Port Charlotte; and 1 grandchild.
