Jerry W. Prince, 70, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at his home in Port Charlotte.

Jerry was born to J W and Pearl Prince on August 31, 1946 in Caruthersville, MO. Jerry was a hard working school teacher who devoted his work mostly for the children. Jerry was a member of Sun Coast Baptist Church for many years. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Debra; his daughter, Lindsey Price of Port Charlotte; 4 sons, Ryan and Gavin Prince both of Port Charlotte and Bryce and Dustin Prince both of Venice, FL; his sister, Sharon Fraley of Venice, FL; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date by the family.
