Huge loss for all. Barry will be missed, I can remember our sailing days on the Chesapeake Bay. I would wait for months to spend an exciting week with Captain Barr. Once we were dismasted in the Virginia part of the bay and Barry slowly navigated us back to Annapolis. He very seldom got rattled and was a joy to sail with. Barry loved a good cigar in the cockpit with a post anchor gin and tonic....or sleeping under the stars on the bay. for him, sailing was not the desination...it was the journey. What a great unforgettable friend.
