Allison: I was so sad to hear of Mikes sudden passing. I have often expressed my thanks to you for the loving care you are providing for your mother (my sister). I regret that I did not fully express my thanks for the important role that Mike played in that loving care. He always encouraged and totally supported your care giving efforts – he will be deeply missed. Please call on me if there is any way that I can assist you during the difficult days ahead.

Mike was the most loved redneck I ever knew. Close friend, no matter how long you may have not seen him. Allie I’m so sorry. Know that he is always with you. We will all meet again. God Speed to all the family.

Mike will always be in our hearts. He was the kindest redneck I ever had the pleasure to know, over 20 years. I’m so sorry Allie that I can’t be there. Know he is always with you. Till we all meet again.

Allison, please know that you are in our prayers. Mike was like a brother to me. High school would not have been the same without him. There are far too many memories to mention. But each and every one are happy memories. I’m glad we had a chance to reconnect in FL., and to meet you. You made him smile like I’d never seen before. Find peace dear Allison, and know that we’ll all see Mike again one day. God bless!!

Mike was my best friend that was always there for me. He will surely be missed. I remember great times watching NASCAR races and running around Smith Mountain Lake together.

You have my deepest condolences on your loss. The Apostle Paul wrote at 1 Corinthians 15:26 that ‘death is an enemy’. We find this to be so true, as death robs us of friends and loved ones, but we can take comfort in his words recorded in the book of Acts 24:15 “that there is going to be a resurrection”. The Apostle Paul was not only talking about the things he saw but also repeating what the Lord Jesus Christ said as recorded at John 5:28, 29 that there would come a time “when all those in the memorial tomb would hear his voice and come out.” These words can bring us the comfort that we will be reunited with our loved ones in the near future. A future where there is no more pain, suffering or death (Revelation 21:4). This is a promise from Jehovah God (Revelation 22:6). It is my deepest wish that these words bring you a measure of comfort in your time of grief.

Oh Ali, my words cannot express the heartbreak I feel for you and the loss of "your" Mike. Take comfort in knowing that he is now in the arms of Our Heavenly Father. Please know that you are in my thoughts and my prayers. T
