Just learned of Vanessa’s passing. My condolences to her family and friends. Vanessa was a wonderful woman with a generous & beautiful heart. Her smile always lit up the church when she entered and radiated her genuine happiness. She was a true asset to the community. God Bless her family whom she always bragged about in church and was so proud of. It was a true pleasure & blessing to have had the opportunity to know Vanessa for the short time that I did!!! May her spirit live on.

I met Vanessa when I had her son, Walter, in my class at Sallie Jones Elementary. I remember her smile, her laughter, her joy. It made me feel better just seeing her come towards me. I know how much you will miss her.

Venessa, just know that you will never be forgotten. A great woman was taken on April 21st. I will never forget how loud and funny you were whenever you walked into a room. You were more than a friend to most of us. To me- you were someone I took advice from, and when needed to vent, you always had a listening ear. I will miss you Queen Venessa. Love you my Ace. S I P.
