Rita was born March 15, 1921 in Keene, New Hampshire. A retired hair stylist, she moved to this area in 1984 from Richford, Vermont. She was a former member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.
She is survived by her children, son Anthony J. (wife:Esther) Kretowicz of Lisbon, NH, and daughter Mary T. Kretowicz of Littleton, NH, a brother Paul Emmond of Keene, NH, six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Karol P. Kretowicz in 1998.
