He was born November 13, 1937 in Coal, Pennsylvania to the late Frank and Mary Romanoski. He moved to Port Charlotte in 1996 from Acushnet, Massachusetts. Raymond was a U. S Navy veteran and a retired master carpenter. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.
Survived by his loving family, wife, Barbara E. Romanoski of Port Charlotte; two sons, Michael Romanoski of Venice, FL. and Raymond Romanoski of Maine; three sisters, Terry Stello, Camille Wallace and Bernice Romanoski all of Pennsylvania; one brother, Michael Romanoski of Pennsylvania; Many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Catholic prayer service at 7:00 PM at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Military Honors and inurnment will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date.
Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to extend condolences to the family. Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory Port Charlotte Chapel.
