Nancy Irene Richmond, 74, of Arcadia, Florida died Friday, January 26, 2018 at Bayfront Health-Port Charlotte.

Nancy was born June 14, 1943 in Brockton, Massachusetts. She moved to Florida 20 years ago from Massachusetts. She was a retired medical transcriptionist for DeSoto Memorial Hospital in Arcadia. Nancy was a member of the Pine Creek Chapel and Women’s Club in Arcadia.

She is survived by her loving family, a sister, Wanita B. Goodwin of Port Charlotte; a brother, Warren Wing of Sarasota, FL; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Clifford and Rita Bousquet; and her husband, Howard Richmond.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 2:00 PM January 31, 2018 at Roberson Funeral Home Chapel, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33948. Interment will be held in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the Pine Creek Chapel in Arcadia. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34238.
