Maureen was born on September 15, 1927 in Portland, Maine, to the late Ralph and Genevieve Cady. She and her husband of more than 42 years, John M. Finks, moved to Port Charlotte in 1981. A former Nurses Assistant and Clerical Worker for Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Maureen was a member of Temple Shalom in Port Charlotte, member and Past President of Temple Shalom Sisterhood, life member of Hadassah, and a member of the Navy Fleet Reserve and Disabled American Veterans (Robert L. Cochran, Jr.) Chapter 82 Auxiliary, in Port Charlotte.
She is survived by her beloved husband John M. Finks; four daughters, Saralyn Anderson of Turner, ME, Linda Davis of South Casco, ME, Diana Gardner of Jupiter, FL, and Donna Finks of Madison, ME; one brother, Donald Cady of Portland, ME; seven grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
