She was born February 15, 1928 in Jamaica, West Indies and moved to Port Charlotte in 1994 from Brooklyn, New York. She was a retired dressmaker in the garment business. Member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church of Port Charlotte.
She is survived by her loving family and husband of 43 years, Albert A. Stewart of Port Charlotte; a daughter, Delrose Brown of Bronx, NY; a son, Danford Stewart of Brooklyn; a brother, Ranford Allen of Jamaica; and two grandchildren.
