She was born October 5, 1922 in Tracy City, Tennessee and moved to Punta Gorda in 1950.
Survived by a daughter, Greta Jones of Punta Gorda; two sons, Marvin Owens
of Port Charlotte, FL and James B. Owens, Jr. of North Port, FL; a half-brother,
Charles Cope of Florida; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren 3 great grandchildren.
Graveside services and interment will be held Tuesday 10:30 AM, March 13, 2007 at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, Punta Gorda. Rev. J. Ralph Burton, Jr. will officiate.
