Port Charlotte Chapel. Deacon Thomas S. Caliguire of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church will officiate.

Memorial services will also be held in St. Mary’s County, Maryland at a later date.

Kyle Daniel Smith, 56, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Monday, March 25, 2019 at home.

Kyle was born July 5, 1962 in Leonardtown, Maryland to the late Joseph E. Smith and Barbara L. (Carroll) Smith. Kyle was an amazing husband, brother and “Pop Pop” who enjoyed living life to the fullest and loved by everyone.

He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Jo Ann Smith of Port Charlotte, FL; daughter, Michelle (Dan) Holbrook of Sarasota, FL; a sister, Kathy (Garrel) Mercer of Ridge, MD; two brothers, Keith Smith of Cross Lanes, WV and Kurtis Smith of Roseburg, OR; grandchildren, Chase Berger, James Holbrook and Mia Holbrook; nephew, Dalton (Liz) Smith and a great nephew, Lucas Smith of Leonardtown, MD, nieces, Kelly Smith of Roseburg, OR, Katie Knott of St. Iniopes, MD and Christina Roy of Lexington Park, MD; in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Smith.

Memorial services will be held Friday 2:00 PM, March 29, 2019 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Deacon Thomas S. Caliguire of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church will officiate. Memorial services will also be held in St. Mary’s County, Maryland at a later date.
