Born in Co. Fermanagh, N. Ireland to the late Michael and Beulah (Flannagan) McGarrile. She moved to Port Charlotte in 1962. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was the sweetest lady God put on this earth. All who met her felt she had been their friend for life. She was the go to person for prayers and all said from her lips to God’s ears.

Kathleen was the loving mother of eight children. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Thomas D. Duffy, two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Duffy and Thomas (Ellen) Duffy, Jr. and a daughter, Rose Mary Stout. She is survived by her children Patrick (Dawn) Duffy of Milwaukee, WI; William Duffy of Port Charlotte, FL; Bon (Alicia) Duffy of Hinesville, GA; Betty (Curt) Richardson of Punta Gorda, FL; Patricia (Eugene) Tanka of Portland, OR and daughter-in-law Breege Duffy (widow of Michael) of Ireland; Grandchildren Thomas Duffy, III; Shannon (Scott) Ray; Kori (Anthony) Giaquinto; Julie (Steve) Kish; Jennifer (Mike) DeMaio; Jason (Christine) Neff; Shelie Neff; Shanon (Bert) Dye; Danielle (JJ) Giuliano; Jimmy (Dawn) Duffy; Mary Rose Duffy; Jimmy Stout; Kathy Stout; Shawn Duffy; Brian Duffy; John Hogg; Erin Hogg; Brian (Kathy) Duffy ; Gerald (Claire) Duffy; Ferguis (Lorraine) Duffy; Michelle (Tim ) Barr; and Joann (John) McGloin; 31 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters Mary McGoldrick of Ireland and Josie McCafferty of Wales.

Services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 9:30A to 10:30A at Roberson Funeral Home, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00A at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 21505 Augusta Ave, Port Charlotte, FL. Interment will be held in the St. Charles Borromeo Memorial Garden.
