He was associated with the Sheet Metal Industry in CT for may years. He was a member of Port Charlotte Elks #2153, American Legion Post 110 Port Charlotte, and Veterans of Foreign Wars #5690. He was also past Exalted Ruler of New Haven Lodge of Elks #25 John was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army. He was a catholic.
Survived by his loving wife of 48 yrs. Ann B. Carroll of North Port, FL; a daughter, Joanne Carroll of Dallas, TX; a son, John David Carroll of Austin, TX.
