We are deeply sorry for your loss. We join you in your suffering for missing Bompa, but we know that he is in a better place now. At moments like this we need to hold on to our faith and believe the God is in control. We need to trust that "He knows everything". I am sure that God has Bompa in a very special place in heaven. Much love and prayers to your family. Nick, Ju, Nico & Audrey

So sorry to hear of Ger's passing. My dad has always considered Ger to be his best friend, ever since high school. I remember the two of them spending Thursday afternoons together riding motor bikes, playing tennis, playing cards, going out for dinner, and always having the best of times thoroughly enjoying each other's company. I've heard many stories of their exploits over the years, and probably would not be here myself if it wasn't for their friendship as Ger introduced my parents during their college years at Albion. One of my favorite stories is the time Ger beat Walt (my dad) in cards. Ger said he should frame the score sheet as a memory of his great victory. My father tore up the score sheet and threw it in the fire. A few days later, an envelope arrived for my father; inside were tiny pieces of blackened paper meticulously pasted back together to form the score sheet... once again suitable for framing!

So so sorry to lose Bompa!! What a wonderful, fun person we had the privilege of knowing as Cindy’s next door neighbors for 14 years!! Halloween was given a higher status when Bompa added popcorn, cotton candy and drinks!! He will be missed so much! My heart is with Sue and the Crums!! Love you all.

Diane Dayton Millington left a message on September 3, 2020:
It was always a highlight when Sue and Gerry arrived at our family gatherings. When Gerry had the Parson's Chemicals, they would bring in a box of products for each branch of the Dayton family to help themselves to.. things like window wash, or bug spray. When Cindy and Jay Jay arrived, the events were always planned so there was a fun venue for the kids, like at a park, with a picnic. Gerry liked to help others and has made a real difference in the lives of many. Rest in peace.
