Survived by his loving family, his wife Joyce Parkes-Sanders of Port Charlotte; a daughter, Maude (husband-Louis) Morgan of Mitchellville, Maryland.; a son, Eddie Sanders, Jr. of Washington, D.C.; a stepson, Michael Barrett of Port Charlotte; two cousins, Betty and Leroy Brooks of Washington, D.C.; 8 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
