Albert was born February 27, 1926 in Ershausen, Germany, and moved to Port Charlotte from Yonkers, New York in 1987. Albert, a house painter by trade, emigrated from Germany to the United States in the years following World War II.
He is survived by his beloved wife of over 51 years Margareta; one daughter, Beverly R. (husband Derek) Templeton of Sarasota, FL; two grandsons, Michael R. Goldman of Washington DC and Ross N. Templeton of Sarasota, FL; one granddaughter, Caroline K. Templeton of Sarasota, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
