Vito A. Giuliano, 90, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Tidewell Hospice Inc. in Venice, Florida.
Vito was born to Salvatore and Antonina Giuliano on July 25, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Port Charlotte in 1989 from Pearl River, NY. Vito was a WWII veteran who served proudly in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council #11483 and American Legion Post 110 of Port Charlotte. Vito loved life to the fullest and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Theresa; his 2 sons, Michael (Wendy) Giuliano of Brewster, NY and Joseph (Catherine) Giuliano of Warwick, NY; his daughter, Nina (Steve) Kirchgessner of Sarasota, FL and 4 grandchildren, Nicholas, Christa, Geri and Andrea.
A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, April 1, 2017at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Inurnment with military honors will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, FL at a later date by the family. In Memory of Vito, In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any charity of choice.
