Tony was married to Rosa Inzerillo on March 16, 1945 and their marriage lasted for 67 years until her death in 2012. Tony and Rosa moved to Punta Gorda from Chicago in 1987. Tony served in the U.S. Navy’s submarine service during World War II and saw action in the North Pacific from 1943 through 1945. He retired from Glaco, a division of Ekco products in 1987 where he was Vice President of Sales. Survived by his daughter, Jane Culhane; sons, Anthony and Michael Inzerillo; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, April 15th 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Catholic Wake Service at 7 PM at Roberson Funeral Home Punta Gorda Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 AM, April 16th 2016 at the funeral home. Graveside services and interment will be held later at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Michael J. I'm so sorry for your loss. I was a coworker of Tony in the aluminum division of Ekco Alcoa going back to 1970 in New York. Apart from our business relationship we had a lot of fun at various trade events (golf etcetra) and trips to Door County every year.He was so great with your mother in her final years. Over the many many years of having Uncle Tony in my lifeI was able to really understand what a man, father, and friend is supposed to be. I wittnessed Uncle Tony, and Aunt Rose,my father, and my mother, enjoy each others true unconditional love and friendship for each other. Thier friendship had everything, time together, trips together, working together, communication, trust and commitment. their friendship taught me how valuable a true friend is. I'm blessed beyond measure to have had a man so true so great so awesome in my life in my younger days growing up in and out of trouble your father never looked down on me he always had kind words and wisdom he always he always tried to build me up. I remember your dad would tell me Billy I believe in you and I know you will be okay, always giving me that hug and pat on the back. Having known Tony as our next door neighbor for the past 14 years, his passing deeply saddens us. He was the kind of neighbor everyone would give their right arm to have. He was a kind and generous person, who seemed to go out of his way to help others. He even kept watch over our house when we went north for the summer, but refused any pay for it. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our only consolation is in knowing he is in a better place now, and reunited with his blessed wife, Rosa. Our condolences go out to his family.
