Rose S. Mahshie, 93, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at her home in Port Charlotte.

Rose was born to Bashara and Freda Sabbagh on January 8, 1924 in Lebanon. Rose loved life to the fullest. Rose was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Antoinette Engelbert of Port Charlotte; 6 sons, John, Kam and Roy Mahshie all of Port Charlotte, Samir and Nabil of Houston, TX and Diab Mahshie of Syracuse, NY; 1 sister, Mary Tayem of Brooklyn, NY; 2 brothers, Chick and Edward Sabbagh both of Syracuse, NY and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 10:00AM-11:00 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00AM, Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
