Olive Claire Christie-Morris, 77, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away, Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte.
She was born May 30, 1939 in Jamaica and immigrated to the United States in 1960. Olive move to Port Charlotte in 1988 from Brooklyn, New York.
Survived by her loving family, her husband Eric Morris of Port Charlotte; a daughter, Stephanie McLean of Port Charlotte; two sons, Winston G. Coaye of Jamaica and Courtney Christie of Raleigh, NC; six sisters, Dorrett McKenzie of Port Charlotte, Sybil Grey of New York, NY, Daphne Palmer of London, UK, Hyacinth Hart of Brooklyn, NY, Deloris an Del Yorke of Jamaica; three brothers, Howard Yorke of London, UK, Clarence Williams of Puerto Rico and Eric Williams of Brooklyn, NY; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 AM, April 29, 2017 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the funeral from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, Florida.
