Eddie, my deepest sympathy to you and the family. Terri was an inspiration to me when I started my career in the Corps of Engineers in the late 1970s and again mid-career when I watched her make bold moves to expand her professional horizons. She positively impacted a lot of people, more than she probably knew. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Terri came to the Guns N Hoses Pipes N Drums after learning snare drumming with Tom Scott. She bought enthusiasm, talent, and dedication with her (and a great smile). She quickly became accomplished enough to become the 1st Drum Sergeant of the newly formed Guns N Hoses. She was asked to take this position because she earned it. Along with the position of Drum Sergeant, she earned the respect and friendship of every drummer in both her bands. She has reached the end of her watch too soon. God speed my friend. Rest in Peace.

What a special lady! She was thrown into this crazy Hoagland family and embraced us all and made each and everyone feel at home when she was around. I always will remember how she took interest in each individual niece or nephew that came to their home for holidays. She always encouraged our individual interest. Will greatly miss Aunt Terri. Much love to the rest of the family.

I met Terri (Nancy) at Slippery Rock State College where we became best friends and did everything together - camping, canoeing, skiing, hiking, going to the work for the US Army Corps of Engineers, etc. Even though in the late 1980's we went separate ways, I still thought of her as my best friend and will always remember her as that. My condolences to her family and friends. She will be sorely missed.

I'll never forgot the first time Nancy saw a "real" Scottish Games in Pitlochry Scotland and her first pipe band drum major!!! She decided right then and there she was going to get Eddie and herself in to kilts! We had a great trip in 2004. Lynnie, Bobbi, Jean and Ginny. We shared a remarkable trip! Wow! Could that girl shop!

I was so very sorry to hear about Terri's death. I worked with her for a number of years at the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters Office in Washington, D.C. She was a very good friend who I considered to be very intelligent and capable. She did lots for the Corps and the people of the United States. I knew her as a talented artist and writer. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
