He was born October 18, 1971 in Columbia City, Indiana and moved to Florida in 1996 from Warsaw, Indiana. Marc was employed at Lakewood Ranch Telecom. He was a loving son, father, and brother who will be missed, but not forgotten.
Survived by his loving family, daughters, Linsey Alexander of Orlando and Phylicia Hale of Michigan; step-daughter, Taylor Mclntyre of Pensacola, FL; parents, George O. and Katharine E. Alexander of Port Charlotte; and a sister, Kara Alexander of Bloomington, IN;
Memorial services celebrating Marc’s life will be held Saturday 2:00 PM, June 25, 2016 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.

So sorry to hear about Marc. I worked with him and Bill Bondy of Universal Communications on numerous T-1 line and telephone system installations. He was always a "character" in a good way, as those who worked with him can attest. He was fun and came up with unique ways to solve client's problems. He will be missed. August 1988 doesn't seem that long ago. I remember Marc & his Grandpa helping with the clean up of Stump Trailer Court.

I cant believe this. Marc was always so vibrant. I was marcs neighbor at his current residence. Marc was a great friend. It was always fun to be around him. He would always invite my friend and I over for dinner, a bonfire, a game of cornhole, or even just to sit on the porch for a cold brew and tv. I looked up to marc, lol hes a crazy bugger, he would just say something crazy and everyone would just bust out laughing. He was good at making us laugh all the time. He always had the coolest things to show me. He liked to collect antique ranching and rail road tools. Im gonna miss Marc alot. I wish it didnt have to be this way, but we all know hes up there in a good place probaly holding a a cold brew and telling crazy jokes. R.I.P. buddy. I'll see you again .

George and Kathy....I was so sorry to see in the Times Union tonight that Marc had passed away. This isn't how life should be when our children go before we do. I remember how Marc, Greg and Shelley use to play between our two yards, on the swings, in the sand box, or on their hot wheels, And of course Sam was there to protect them. He was such a cute little blond headed boy. Those summer days holds many good memories of the kids and you folks as good neighbors.
I know your hearts are heavy and words seem so empty, but I'm truly sorry for your loss. Marc was way to young to pass and leave his own family and you.
