Linda was born August 10, 1920 in Peabody, Massachusetts, one of seven children to Biagio and Filomena Taglieri. A former LPN, Linda and her husband John F. Hogan moved to Florida in 1979. She later moved to Punta Gorda from North Fort Myers, and joined Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by a sister, J. Theresa DeSantis; nephews, Joseph, James, and Christopher (wife Anna) DeSantis, and great niece Mary DeSantis; and numerous more nieces, nephews, great, great, great nieces and nephews, and extended family members. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Louis, Al, Flory, and Sereno; a sister, Santa; and her beloved husband John.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Roberson Funeral Home, Port Charlotte Chapel, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda. Burial will be held in Salem, Mass.
