Laura E. Donham, 94, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016, on her birthday, at Life Care Center of Punta Gorda.

Laura was born December 10, 1922 in Clark County, Illinois to the late Emmett and Florence Clough. She moved to Port Charlotte in 1977 from New Baden, Illinois. She was a member of the Port Charlotte United Methodist Church and a former member of the Charlotte County Art Guild, and was particularly proud of going back to school and earning her Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree from Florida Southern College in 1995.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane (Allan) Rudy of East Lansing, MI; 3 sons, Cary (Becky) Donham of Chicago, IL, Mark Donham of Brookport, IL and Dean (Robin) Donham of Port Charlotte; two sisters; 5 grandchildren, Aiden and Shea Rudy, Sam Donham, Natalie (Reuben) Donham-Celaya and Aaron Donham; 2 great grandchildren, Cameron and Emily Donham.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Samuel H. Donham, who died in 1998.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.
