He was born May 14, 1956 in Los Angeles, California to the late Craig & Christa Hughes. Jimmy served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam War veteran. He attended the Trinity United Methodist Church in Charlotte Harbor.
There are no known family survivors.
Graveside services and interment with military honors by a U.S. Army Honor Guard will be held Tuesday 3:00 PM, Sept. 1, 2015 at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida. Rev. Ed Horne of the Charlotte Harbor United Methodist Church will officiate.
