Germaine A. Williams, 94, of Punta Gorda, FL, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Tidewell Hospice House in Venice, FL.

Born February 28, 1922, in New York, New York, Germaine, a veteran of World War II, served as a Army Nurse with the rank of 1st LT in the CBI. Germaine and her husband Craig K. Williams retired and moved to Punta Gorda in 1992 from Miami, FL, where they lived for many years.

Germaine is survived by a son, John, and daughters Alexis and Allison. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Craig, on Feb. 23, 2002.
