Genevieve M. Cabral, 98, of North Port, FLorida passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Life Care Center of Punta Gorda, Florida.

Genevieve was born to Wojciech and Hermina Hadala on September 29, 1920 in Yonkers, New York. She was a member of San Pedro Catholic Church. Genevieve was a strong woman who enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be remembered by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol Siegel of North Port, FL; 2 sons, Leonard P. Cabral of Sanford, FL and Frederick Cabral, Jr. of Middletown, NY; her sister, Agnes Sacco of Lauderdale, FL; 7 grandchildren, Catherine Anderson, Karen Cabral, Frank Cabral, Christopher Cabral, Melissa Cabral, Jamie Siegel and Lisa Siegel and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her one and only loving husband of 29 years, Frederick Cabral, Sr. and her granddaughter, Diana Bardelli.

A visitation will be held 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM, Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM, Thursday, October 11, 2018 at San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port, FL. Inurnment will be held at a later date in New York by the family.
