Frank was born July 22, 1938 in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Dominic and Mella Stabile. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1956 and after his discharge went to work for the railroad. He was a retired railroad conductor for Metro North. Member of St. Maxmilian Kolbe Catholic Church of Port Charlotte.
Survived by his loving family, his wife, Donna M. Stabile of Port Charlotte; daughters, Toni Stabilo of Springfield, MA and Karen Smith of Longmeadow, MA; a son, Michael Stabilo of Springfield, MA; a sister, Joan Millang of Ocala, FL; and 7 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday 2:00 PM, May 30, 2015 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Military honors will be conducted by a U.S. Navy Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions in memory of Frank may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or to the Wounded Warriors Project.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory Port Charlotte Chapel.
