She was born January 10, 1931 in Queens, New York and moved to Port Charlotte in 1991 from Fort Lauderdale.
Florence is survived by her devoted husband, Louis Levato of Port Charlotte; two loving sisters, Thelma Sehy of Ocala and Irene of New York; a loving daughter, Patti Mandel of North Port; three loving sons, Fred and Gerard Mandel both of Port Charlotte and Alan Mandel of Lakeland; eight Grandchildren, Diana West, Chris and Ricky Mandel, Shannon and Patrick McKenna, Matthew, Robert and Melissa Amato; and ten Great-Grandchildren, Gianna, Niko and Sal Califano, Tyler Mandel, Paityn Mandel and Gracyn Mandel, Dylan Kraebel, Casey West, Ella Amato and Robby Amato. They will all miss her smile and wish her the best of luck on her scratch-offs in Heaven.
Visitation will be held Monday 1:00 PM, May 9, 2016 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00PM at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Rev. Brian James will officiate.
