She was born August 12, 1922 in Clinton, Indiana to the late Claude A. and Sadie Birt. Elizabeth moved to Port Charlotte in 1985 from Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was a retired secretary and a member of the Port Charlotte United Methodist Church.
She is survived her loving family, a daughter, Bonnie J. (Tom) Felger of Fort Wayne, IN; a sister,
Laverne Marie Osman of Hobart, IN; a niece, Marsha Lee Osman of Hobart, IN; 1 grandson, David (Terri) Markley and 3 great grandchildren, Derreck, Michael and Jessica Markley. She was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Jones who died in 1997.
Memorial services celebrating Elizabeth’s life will be held Monday 11:00 AM, October 10, 2016 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Dr. Craig Moore of the Port Charlotte United Methodist Church will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
