Elaine V. Wilson, 89, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Duke Raleigh Hospital in North Carolina.

Elaine was born to David Taylor and Evadne Gillings on May 5, 1928 in Jamaica, West Indies. Elaine was a strong woman who loved life to the fullest and especially Jesus Christ the all mighty. There was never a day that she missed praying and thanking God for all he has provided to her. She loved sitting out by her garage almost daily just to pray and praising Jesus. She was a loving, warm hearted soul. She will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her loving son, Joe (Pauline) Burgher of Jamaica, W.I.; her grandchildren, Pauline, Steven, Beverley Keisha and Tyeisha; her great grandchildren, Sharonda, Emmanuel, Hakeema, Sade, Tyrone and Solana; her great great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Kamryn and Laila and many other numerous grandchildren and her Puerto Rican son, Ben Rivera.

A Visitation will be funeral service will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Inurnment will be held at a later date by the family in Jamaica, W.I.
