She was born February 18, 1924, in Blue Creek, Ohio, and came to Port Charlotte in 1989 from Reading, Michigan, with her husband, Cecil M. Partin. A retired Key Punch Operator, she was a longtime member of the Sonshine Baptist Church in Port Charlotte.
She is survived by her children, a daughter, Donna K. (Husband Donald) Niederkorn of Centerville, OH; a son, Douglas C. Partin of Port Charlotte, FL; two grandchildren, Lynne (Husband Brad Keely) Niederkorn, and Timothy (Wife Elizabeth) Niederkorn; three great grandchildren, Cecil, Lydia and Sophie Niederkorn; sister-in-law, Thelma Warner of Port Charlotte; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, a grandson, Stephen, and her beloved husband.
