DAPHENE FRENCH NOVAK, 92, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away peacefully Friday, January 20, 2017 at home.

She was born August 9, 1924 in Ellicottville, New York to the late Mace B. and Agatha A. French. Mrs. Novak was a retired church secretary in New York and moved to Port Charlotte in 1993 from Buffalo, New York.

Survived by her loving family, a daughter, Diane A. Novak of Port Charlotte; two granddaughters, Alicia McNamara of Port Charlotte and Caitlynn Pavlovsky of Punta Gorda, FL; a great grandson, Ennigier J. Rivera; and sister, Shirley Grace French of New Mexico; Her husband, Eugene R. Novak preceded her in death in 2013.

Graveside committal will be held Monday 2:00 PM, January 30, 2017 at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to extend condolences to the family.
