CHARLES WILLIAM QUENELL, 74, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Sunday, June 21, 2015 in Sarasota, Florida.

He was born October 17, 1940 in Massena, New York to the late Henry and Alice Quenell and moved to Port Charlotte in 1997 from Rochester, NY. Charles was a retired automotive parts engineer and a Catholic.

He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 52 years, Kathleen M. Quenell of Port Charlotte; a son, Scott R. Quenell of Rochester, NY; a sister, Joanne LaDue Russell of Norwood, NY; a brother, Donald Quenell of Florida; and 2 grandson, Scott and Corey Quenell. He was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Quenell and a daughter, Kelly Quenell.

Committal services and inurnment will be held Friday 10:00 AM, June 26, 2015 at of Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.
