Carol A. Conn, 69, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at her home in Port Charlotte.

Carol was born December 1, 1946 in Yonkers, New York. She was a woman who enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family and was an avid baseball fan. She will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Barry) Kelliher of North Port, FL; her son, Gerald Conn, Jr. of Ft. Myers, FL; a sister, Sharon Sayre of Indiana and 5 grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin, Narissa, Devin and Cavin. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald Sr., her parents, Anthony and Frances Scaturro and her sister, Frances Scaturro.

Visitation will be held 1:00PM-2:00PM, Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel with a Scripture Service to follow at 2:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.

I will always fondly remember Carol. I will always hold her dear to my heart. I will remember her as my friend, and truly wish we had more time together. We shared many heart to heart conversations, and shared pieces of our lives with each other. We shared uncanny parallels between our lives. She was always so sweet and endearing. I loved bringing her flowers, just to see her smile. I pray for her to rest peacefully. I will never forget Carol, because I loved her.
