Anthony A. Adamo, 65, of Punta Gorda, Florida died Friday, October 6, 2017 at home.

Anthony was born September 21, 1952 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late Louis and Florence Mary (Guilietti) Adamo. He was a retired automotive mechanic and Catholic. Anthony and his wife, Linda moved to Punta Gorda six years ago from West Haven, CT.

He is survived by his loving family, wife of 47 years, Linda A. Adamo of Punta Gorda; a daughter, Toni Lynn Adamo of West Haven, CT; four sons, Anthony A. Adamo, Jr. of Bradenton, FL, William Adamo of West Haven, CT; Joseph Adamo and Ryan Adamo both of Punta Gorda; five sisters, Adeline Rosabianca of Hamden, CT, Phyllis Hauser of Port Charlotte, FL, Cindy Aldrich, Karen Laudano, Debbie Lombardozzi and Shirley Frumento all of West Haven, CT; three brothers, Louis, Michael and Frank Adamo, all of West Haven, CT; and nine grandchildren, Caitlin, Cassidy, Billy Jr., Ally, Kiki, Leah, Sean, Brooke and Danny.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM Thursday at San Antonio Catholic Church, 24445 Rampart Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL 33980. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made San Antonio Catholic Church.
