Anita was born December 8, 1923 in Quebec, Canada to the late Blanche and Henri Fauteux. Anita and her husband Lucien raised three children and lived in Enfield, Connecticut until moving to Port Charlotte in 1988. She was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.
Survivors include a son, Luke (Pierrette) Courtemanche of FL; two daughters, PierretteCourtemanche of Belgium, and Diane (Maurice) Violette of CT; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and sisters, Lorraine Lucht of CT, and Henriette Choquette of MA. In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by three sisters, four brothers, and on June 20, 2012, her beloved husband of 69 years, Lucien.
A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at San Antonio Catholic Church, 24445 Rampart Blvd, with inurnment to follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda.
Memorial donations in Anita’s memory are suggested to the American Heart Association, Memorial Tributes P.O. Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
