Alice K. Au, 93, of Port Charlotte, Florida formerly Pikeville, TN and Venice, FL passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Solaris Healthcare in Port Charlotte.
Alice was born and raised on a farm in Clinton, Iowa. She and her family moved to Florida in 1959. She was a talented artist, and enjoyed china painting, oil painting, drawing, quilting and crafting. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Connie Wells of Port Charlotte; her granddaughters, Jacqui (Mike) Freund of North Port, FL and Bobbi (Gary) Urban of Mankato, MN; her grandsons, Jeff (Kristen) Wells of San Antonio, TX and Kevin (Stacey) Krause of Orlando, FL; great-grandchildren, Kayla (Jake) Bayne, Holly Freund, and Jonathan, Sophia and Ella Urban and James Krause; and a great great grandson, Jayse Bayne. She was preceded by her husband of 65 years, Harold W. Au, a daughter, Bonnie, her parents and three brothers.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017 from 1:00 PM followed by funeral services celebrating Alice’s life at 2:00 PM at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33948. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.
